Why reinvent The Housing Wheel?

Why not: Failing to do so is dangerous to your wealth.

Just leave the system alone and work within it is a common mantra by many real estate related professionals.

Please don’t misunderstand me, I think there is a need for top-quality real estate agents. Good ones can save us time and money. I just believe there should be more A la Carte options for buyers and sellers who are sufficiently sophisticated and savvy.

Let’s do the math. Assume a double transaction (Someone buys and sells a property). Let’s think modestly, sell a $250,000 condo and buy a $400,000 home.

$250,000 sale at 6% commission = $15,000.

$400,000 purchase at 6% commission = $24,000.

That’s a package of $39,000 in commissions that somebody pays for.

Just assume it cost the buyer and seller each $18,000 on average.

In this day and age with today’s technology , there is no reason to maintain the rigorous defense for using Full Service for everyone for all transactions.

Get help where it makes sense, save a bundle.
